Well, time just seems to be rolling on by.

Its already the 21st of February, I can’t believe it. Over a year has passed since I left the US Navy. Theres lots going on and I can’t wait for my dreams to come true.

I had to take my car back to the shop. They replaced my CV joint, but there was something else wrong and some mis-communication and the car was released to me. Well, the axle started grinding again so I took it back in. They said the axle was stuck in the transfer case. I’m no automechanic, but I suppose thats a bad thing. Goodyear said I had to take it to a transmission shop. Who knows what they’ll charge! Goodyear said they wanted to reimburse me for the job, but I said no, for them to just replace the other CV axle and not charge me. Simple as that!

My savings are steadily growing. Albuquerque, NM is starting to look really good. And its coming up fast. I’m planning on taking a trip to Germany in either late August or September, spending a few days with my sister, then travel down to Italy and cruise the country side and Rome, then return for a few more days at my sisters house. I’ll be sure to take my GPS and PocketPC along and a map of Europe. Hell, who knows, I might just stay there. They got great security jobs over there.

But thats a bit down the road. I’ve always got to mostly focus on whats happening right now.

I haven’t been getting as much sleep as I’d like to have. But its mostly psychological. Every day, your Arcadium rythms recycle, at the sight of dawn. Its something inherent in all of us. When we see morning light, we seem to refreshen and awake. Nowadays, when I leave work, the dawn is just approaching, and I begin to awake. By the time I crawl into my bed, I cant goto sleep and I’m not tired anymore. I love the nightshift, but it does have its querks. I usually fall asleep around 0900 or 1000, giving me about 5 - 5.5 hours of sleep. So… thats about 19 hours that I’m awake any given day. But thats OK. The dough is just fine and I’m young. Its all that matters.

Thats all for today, I suppose I’ll update again in a couple of days. Whenever I feel like it I suppose.
