So some things that are happening in my world:
Last Thursday I got my Air Condition repaired. It runs nice and cold now, even though the used A/C compressor I had put in has a slight rattle to it. That’s OK for now.
Saturday morning I got the OEM O2 sensor put in, after O’Reilly’s ordered the wrong part for Friday morning. The car runs superbly now, or as well as one could want. I also got a quote for custom exhaust work on Thursday morning. For the custom pipes and slightly larger catalytic converter it’ll cost me $298, which is not including the performance muffler. The Magnaflow muffler they have that I want will cost me about $260, a nice dual-tip with double walls. Looks nice and will sound nice, not too loud like I put a fart can on there. Well, did some searching on eBay this morning and found the same exact one for only $150 dollars with free shipping in the continental United States. Perfect I say. So I’m looking at close to $450 for the whole job. Not bad at all.
Other than that I’ve been sleeping and working, and just holding my own. Time is beginning to count down for my leave date, getting closer and closer.
Towards the middle of the month I’ll start packing some small things here and there, so I won’t be swamped when it comes time to start the real packing. I’ll start with my winter clothes; get those out of the way, and my books and other things. Just a little at a time.
If you’re blind, you probably didn’t notice, but I changed the theme of my blog. It’s a German theme, which is perfect since some of my family back home reads this blog as well.
