Currently listening to: Thievery Corporation: Until the Morning

I suppose I have my week cut out for me.

I work tonight and I’ll be off tomorrow, so that I can stay up all day and sleep at night, for I commence a three day gun training class on Monday at 0700 sharp. Subsequently I am off on Thursday and Friday and go back to work on Saturday. Naturally I’ll get paid my regular rate during training, plus $39 a day for Per Diem, as well as four hours round trip every day, because training is taking place in Biloxi, Mississippi. So I’ll actually make more money, and the following week I’m working straight through ’till the 31st. Not bad at all.

I called U-Haul today and reserved my trailer, and set up an appointment for the 8th of August to get the trailer hitch installed on my car. The trailer hitch installed will cost $288, and the trailer itself for five days will cost $52. You can’t beat that.

I’ve finished updating the Gallery to the new version, along with the Google Map module. It was a bit of an arduous process, but its working again and I just have to finish uploading all pictures again to their proper albums and posting albums and certain pictures to the Map.

You will also notice I’ve changed the theme of the Guestbook, to closer match the rest of the website, and I’ve gotten rid of those pesky Spam posts, by making it so I have to validate the entry before it’s posted. I really hate spammers; they should all be skinned and dipped in salt water.

When I feel ready to do so, I will also change the colors of this Blog page, so everything looks more uniform. Once all that’s done, the only thing left to do will be my travel page, which still to this day remains empty and swarming with spinning spiders. I’ll get to that eventually, when I feel like it.

Ah yes, Da Cam page, still a little box with a small red X in the corner? Of course, once I move to Albuquerque, and get my main PC up and running the way I require it, then the webcam will run 24/7. Logically, I will also have a fixed IP address, and not one of those peculiar ones that changes every 2 or 3 days. I know there’s a proper name for it, but I just can’t think of it right now. Is it DHCP protocol thingy? Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

So, I trust I can say my website will be FULLY functional after my arrival in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Any who, that’s all for now, I’ll get back to doing nothing.

Signing off,

-Bull
