Whoa! Hey there… I suppose its time to update again!

As you’ll notice, I’ve changed the theme again. I attempted at making my own, but the tutorial sucked and I’m horrible at CSS. So I just downloaded a template, and changed the Link menu on the left with the links I wanted… yeah, that was the easy part.

I’ve been pretty good, considering. I had a scare a couple of weeks ago. I was up at Sandia Peak, walking around up there, when suddenly my chest felt like it had a huge bubble in it, pushing in from all sides, or like somebody was standing on my chest. I panicked naturally, cause I didn’t know what was going on. This went on for like 5 minutes with my heart pounding and flip-flopping agains my chest. Then as quick as it had come on, it went away. I just figured it had something to do with the high altitude, since Sandia Peak is at a little over 10,000 feet. So the following week I got the stomach Flu, and I wasn’t a happy camper, and it seemed after only every three steps I took, my heart began pounding like crazy. So, I finally went to the doctor, at a no-insurance clinic. She told me from all of whats shes heard of my story, it all adds up that I had very likely had a small heart attack up at Sandia. She said there wasn’t enough equipment to really make sure at her clinic, but she did hook me up to a EKG and we went over the report together. The sheet concluded that nothing was amiss with my heart, meaning there was no muscle damage from my little episode. She told me that if this happened again I WILL have to go to the Emergency Room. I thought “duh.”

So I’ve been taking it a bit easy after that; I’m not eating as much and when I do I’m eating “healthier” things. I’ve cut down my smoking a bit too. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you. Right

In other news, it looks like I’m gonna be getting that job at Verizon Wireless (from now on VZW). Not the Customer Support side, but even better the WDTS side, which stands for Wireless Data Tech Support. Yeah baby!

After I had received a disqualification letter for my application for Customer Support, I took matters into my own hands. Since I already work at the Call Center as a security guard, I simply walked into Human Resources and talked to the rep myself. After we sat down a bit and discussed the life of WDTS techs, he asked me to fill out the Online Resume and let him know when I did. So I did that, copy and pasted my resume to the application, and then let him know. So after that, we had a over the phone pre-screening, after I completed that I went took the computer test at the call center. This consisted of a computer knowledge test which wasn’t that difficult, and a customer support simulation, where I listened to the mock callers, and selected the correct answer from a list of options. Wow that was SOOO easy! And I’m scheduled for next week for my sit down interview, and pretty much after that I’ve got the job! A little persistence always pays off!

So, thats all for now, I’ll update after I have that interview. See ya’ll later!

Signing off,

-Bull
