According to BerryReview, a new version of facebook is available.
I went ahead and upgraded from 1.0.0.18 to 1.0.0.23 just now. Installation was a breeze and after restarting my Blackberry I loaded the facebook application.
As far as I could tell there were no significant changes at all. Probably a few security updates here and there but [...]

Seems the folks over at Jott still haven’t been able to release their mobile application for blackberry. I wonder what the hold up is.

So the new version of Google Maps is available, but Google didn’t release any new information about it. So, no changelog or why this was released. I’m going to download it anyway to see if I can find anything. Probably the only change I’ll find is the new version number in the “About” section.

Back when I had the Motorola Q, another program that I had used extensively was Yahoo! Go. A great little app that allows you to access all of Yahoo’s cool services, two of the important ones being Mail and Flickr.

iPhone lovers beware, it’s coming.
In early February a patent was released for a touchscreen Blackberry. This is great news. As far as U.S. smart phone sales are concerned, Blackberry is only 2nd place, next to the iPhone which is first place. This just very may well turn the tables.

OK so apparently an update to the 8130 OS has been released, but you won’t find it pop up in Device Manager on your desktop. Mainly cause this update is not mandatory. If it does pop up, you may be running a version that’s older than the last update.
